Empowering Orphans and Vulnerable Communities"

Community Empowerment for Development Mercy Ministry (COMEDEV-International) is a non-profit organization that supports and educates orphans and other vulnerable children, youths and women in Uganda. They operate a nursery and primary school and collaborate with other schools and community development agencies to address development issues. Their vision is "a world without extreme poverty, discrimination & HIV/AIDS" and their mission is "creating economically vibrant & sustainable, hunger and HIV/AIDS-free society in Uganda". Their main focus is on improving the quality of life of vulnerable children and their families, by providing education and vocational training and promoting human rights and micro-credit programs.
